Camera comparison with NOKIA LUMIA 1020...?

NOKIA LUMIA 1020 as we all know the best camera phone at present and may be for a good time the 41MP camera with sensors gives a perfect image which can be in your mind for a long time.People says that we cant judge the camera without experiancing it but in my view the nokia was and will be the best for its camera the quality of the image even after the zoom remains the best which cant be seen in any other camera phones
as we can see the lumia 1020 is far away from the other cameras and even it has a vivid clear image than the other cameras.I dont says that the other cameras are not good but the comparison of the other cameras with the lumia 1020 is not correct if the other cameras can compeat the lumia then whats the diffrence to give it the 41MP camera now at last in my view every camera is perfect if it wont be get compared with any other cameras stay tune for more

Nokia Lumia 1020 for £30 on Vodafone's contract

In this quarter the NOKIA LUMIA 1020 will goes on sale in germany the pre orders are alrady taken by the  retailers. The germany campaign started at hefty £799 price tag,but now the price has fallen down to the slight more reasonable £699

And if you don't feel like paying that much upfront, Vodafone and T-Mobile Germany will be offering the Nokia Lumia 1020 at far lower subsidized rates. Their offers are already available at some online retailers.

Vodafone will give you the Lumia 1020 only for €29.90 if you opt for a two-year contract with a €70/month tariff (calls and data).

T-Mobile's cheapest offer has the Lumia 1020 listed at €149.90 with a 2-yar contract and €80/month plan.
There are some offers from O2 as well, but they are quite steep compared to those we've already mentioned.
Nokia Lumia 1020 has already available on pre-order in the USA exclusively through AT&T and had a great start. The cameraphone is already out of stock because of the high demand and some customers might have to wait a while until they get their hands on the beast.
Lots of EU retailers have the Lumia 1020 listed available with 4 to 6 weeks shipping, which seems about right since the phone is expected to launch in September.

FOR £799 THE NOKIA LUMIA AVAILABLE ON PRE-ORDER IN GERMANY

A couple of german retailers have been found to already offer the nokia lumia 1020 on pre-order and boath place and advertizing the phone for £799 sim-free
This sort of pricing hardly coms as suprising since the current generation iPhone,Which is traditionally the most expensive smartphone to buy, cost £789 for 32GB version in Germany. And as we saw with the announced US pricing this timearound NOKIA considerit has a true winner on its  hand and is readt to price it as true premium product.

the announcement of the no0kia lumia 1020 made a big splash in the industry this weak, talkng about the phone on stage the CEO however only touched briefly upon european availablitysaying that the is comming to key in european market this quarter. And that's that
in our nokia lumia 1020 preview, published earlier this week  we made a wild guess that the nokia lumia 1020 will cost around £700 on the old content and we called it way more than nokia can effort to change for its flag ship at the moment the price of £799 is quite steeper so we wer eagerly awaiting to see the actual price at launch

unfortunately the two stores which have the lumia 1020 on pre-order,don't have any launch date to suggest, meaning the know as much as ue do now
The Leaked documents suggest that the lumia 1020 will be sold in a 64GB version on O2 network , so if O2 is ur carrier of choice, you might want to abstain from pre-ordering the device from third party retailer

Nokia Lumia 1020 leaked press image reveals a trio of colors

A few days after we saw it wearing AT&T livery, the Nokia Lumia 1020 appeared in yet another press image. This time around, the Windows Phone 8 imaging powerhouse appeared free of carrier branding, and showcasing three colors - white, black, and yellow.
Alongside the leaked press image, some fresh details about the handset's specs emerged, including its much talked about camera unit. The latter promises to be a smartphone photographer's dream when the handset goes official.
Reportedly, the 41MP camera unit of the Nokia Lumia 1020 will be capable of simultaneously capturing 32MP and 5MP images with 16:9 ratio, as well as a 38MP ones with 4:3 aspect. The 5MP image will be oversampled by combining seven pixels into one "super pixel." The camera will unsurprisingly feature optical image stabilization (OIS) and F2.2 aperture.
The Pro Camera app which left us wondering last time will bring proper enthusiast settings to the user. They include the option to manually tweak ISO, white balance, focus, shutter speed, and the flash settings.
Further leaked specs for the Nokia Lumia 1020 included never before seen on WP handset 2GB of RAM, 32GB of non-expandable storage, NFC, FM radio, flip to silence gesture, and optional wireless charging.
Nokia Lumia 1020 is allegedly expected to hit AT&T's shelves by the end of this month. No details have been spilled on international availability.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 will break cover this coming Thursday in New York City. We will be covering the event live from the spot, so be sure to tune in for the full scoop on the smartphone.

Camera samples for 41MP Nokia Lumia 1020 (EOS) surface

Joe Belfiore, manager at Microsoft's Windows Phone division, has posted several samples which contain EXIF data identifying the device used as the Nokia Lumia 1020.

Lumia 1020 camera samples
The Lumia 1020, which leaked numerous times by its codename Nokia EOS, has since been identified by numerous sources as the Lumia 1020, a sequel to Nokia's current Windows Phone flagship, the Lumia 920. It may or may not have the PureView suffix attached to it, to liken it to the first Nokia model sporting PureView, the Nokia 808 PureView.
The first sample has a resolution of 2947 x 1658 pixels (~5MP), while the other is 2352 x 1568 pixels (3.7MP), but as we know the first PureView camera produced samples of similar resolution in its native supersampling mode.
The Lumia 1020 is expected to be announced by Nokia on July 11 at the #ZoomParty event in New York. Be sure to check back with us then for all the juicy details.

Nokia Lumia 1020 to be priced at $602, hit stores in August

The Nokia EOS has been doing the rounds in the rumorland for a while now and the upcoming Lumia smartphone is expected to be announced at the "Nokia Zoom" event on July 11.
The pricing details of the Nokia Lumia 1020 have been revealed ahead of its official release, courtesy of a leaked inventory of a Microsoft Store. According to the document, the Nokia EOS will be called as Lumia 1020 as initially rumored, and not Lumia 909 as suggested by evleaks yesterday.
Furthermore, the Nokia Lumia 1020 is said to retail for $602 SIM-free and the smartphone will be available in Yellow, Black and White color options. The shipments of Nokia Lumia 1020 will hit the stores on July 22 and the smartphone is expected to go on sale in the first week of August.
We will be bringing all the latest news from the "Nokia Zoom" event as and when it happens. So, stay tuned.

Nokia Asha smartphones receive a major software update

Nokia has started the rollout of a major software update for its Nokia Asha touch devices and the update brings few exciting new features and functions to the featurephone lineup.
The update comes with enhanced support for mail for exchange, a dedicated YouTube launcher and improved social experiences. Some features will remain specific to different models, but the update with all its tweaks and fixes will be available to all the Asha touch phone users.
Furthermore, the software update for the Nokia Asha 305Asha 306 and the Dual-SIM variants of Asha 308 and Asha 310 will now support WhatsApp, a popular third-party messenger, for the first time.
The software update is available over the air (OTA) or you can update your devices via Nokia PC Suit. Check out the video below for more information on how to update your Asha devices.

Nokia Lumia 1020 back side appears in leaked official photo

The Nokia EOS has a rich history of leaks on its record, including a mini preview not too long ago. The trend seems to be changing to official photos now and after yesterday's display and front panel of the device for AT&T, @evleaks has now outed a render of the cameraphone's back.
The photo shows the party piece of the Nokia Lumia 1020, its 41MP camera with Xenon and LED flash unit. We've already seen the design of the back in a series of live photos, but this is the first time an official image has popped up.
However, it doesn't stop there, as @evleaks has also unveiled the smartphone's name for AT&T. It's going to be called the Nokia Elvis, but not much details were leaked regarding pricing and launch dates.
The Nokia Lumia 1020 will break cover next week, on July 11 in New York City. We will be covering the event live for you, so be sure to tune in for all the details surrounding the device when the time comes.
Update: A new tweet from evleaks appeared, saying that according to some new information they got, Nokia will not be calling the smartphone Lumia 1020. Instead the PureView smartphone will go by as Nokia Lumia 909. That model number would probably serve the purpose of showing the connection between this smartphone and the 808 PureView more clearly.

Nokia should look to Android to stay afloat, analyst says

Many attribute Nokia's decline in recent years to its exclusive reliance on Microsoft's Windows Phone platform as its only outlet into the world of smartphones. Now one analyst argues that if Nokia has any hope of righting the ship, it must begin manufacturing Android smartphones.
Pierre Ferragu of Bernstein Research urges that Nokia must "take the pill before one cannot afford to do so anymore… its exposure to the disappearing feature phone market and the lack of traction of Windows phones could cost Nokia a lot of cash in the near term, in restructuring, marketing/distribution support, and operational losses, which means it could be too late to address the problem in a couple of years."

Nokia Amber update for WP8 Lumias coming in August

The Nokia Lumia 925 launched with a new and improved software and Nokia promised to make it available to its older WP8 phones in the summer with the so-called Amber update. Now we've got a more concrete time frame thanks to the Nokia Spain's Twitter account.

The Amber update for Nokia Lumia range with WP8 arrive in August giving the same user experience as #Lumia925
Translated with Google Translate
The Amber update will bring the new Smart Camera lens for Lumia, which does post processing tricks like Action shot, Motion focus and object removal. Check out demos of those effects here.
There’s more - Amber will enable the FM radio receiver that has been lying dormant in Windows Phone 8 powered Lumia phones (except the 620) and the "double tap to wake" lockscreen with a clock (presumably only for AMOLED packing phones). Check out our preview of the Lumia 925 for more details on these features.
By the way, Twitter accounts aren't 100% reliable when it comes to such information, so we're still waiting for official confirmation.
